Fiscal Responsibility for Larimer County!
I am opposed to uranium mining in or near Larimer County. Powertech’s uranium mining proposal near Nunn does not offer sufficient safeguards to health and safety. The risks to our citizens and the environment are simply too great.
Government’s first priority is public safety. Whether law enforcement, emergency preparedness, or regulating hazardous activities like uranium mining; keeping the public safe must inform every decision.
I am a strong proponent of economic growth. But, even in that, a balanced approach is necessary.
This is an easy one for me… I oppose uranium mining near Nunn.
